click/tap to load Nova Consult Our Consulting arm UK legacy switch closure When the board of a major UK operator took the strategic decision to migrate away from its long standing TDM switch network, the NovaQC team led by Brian Down and Ian Peacock was ideally suited to develop a traffic migration plan that would enable exchange closures to meet an ambitious cost savings target. In only three months they established the switch, routing capacity and loadings in a number of target exchanges, and generated a detailed programme of consolidation and migration that would enable a programme of rapid closures to meet the demanding cost and timescale.  How good is our broadband network? This was the question that the board of a major Asian service provider asked itself. The definitive answer was provided by Keith Dawson, who carried out a “Through the Eyes of the Customer” audit using NovaQX. After only a month, this unique system of Customer Experience Sensors and powerful BI based data analysis generated a wealth of factual detail. •	Issues that were suspected but could not be proven have now been clearly defined and diagnosed	 •	And other previously unknown factors were identified and their impact on fault rates clearly identified	 An improvement plan was produced that reduced costs and improved customer experience.  SE Asia FTTH Roll Out Richard Olive and Phil Thompson planned and implemented this new FTTH network providing a major enhancement of coverage, speed and reliability to customers across the country. This involved the establishment of the "as is" of the existing network, both physically and in relation to the distribution of the population. They then designed the programme to migrate existing customers served by copper and a major new build to expand capacity. The key objectives were: •	Hit the target number of homes connected – over achieved  •	Improve build quality, as measured by early life faults- achieved  •	Hit a new cost reduced budget – over-achieved  Some recent projects +44 (0) 7944 318578 contact@novaqc.com
